The second suicide bomber who died during this week's terrorist attacks on the Brussels airport was Najim Laachraoui, Belgian federal prosecutors confirm.
The 24-year-old Belgian national had long been sought in connection with the terrorist attacks in Paris last year.
Traces of Laachraoui's DNA were found on two explosive vests used by Paris attackers at the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de France football stadium, the prosecutors confirm. His DNA was also found in a house and an apartment in Belgium that are thought to have been used by the Paris attackers.
