A German satirical magazine on Friday published a lewd portrayal of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on its cover ahead of Sunday's rally by the Turkish leader's supporters in Cologne.
The cover of the weekly magazine Titanic shows Erdogan with a large sausage protruding from his trousers.
Titanic sayid on its website that after a failed military coup two weeks ago, the Turkish President "now ... faces a new adversity: another coup, this time very, very much from below!
"Is it the blood, the groin or the pressure to perform?" the magazine asked.
Earlier this year, German prosecutors launched a probe into remarks by another of the nation's satirists, Jan Boehmermann, after Erdogan complained that he was insulted by them.
The probe was launched under an antiquated German law prohibiting insults against foreign leaders.
