German police: Several injured in Frankfurt cafe explosion

Several people have been injured in an explosion that rocked a cafe in Frankfurt, German police said Monday.

An apparent flash fire occurred in the kitchen of the cafe. It cannot be ruled out that it was caused by a gas leak, police said.

Members of the police and the fire brigade were present at the scene.
