British leadership candidate Andrea Leadsom pulls out of race

British leadership candidate Andrea Leadsom pulls out of the race to succeed Prime Minister David Cameron, leaving just one remaining candidate, Home Secretary Theresa May.

Vote Leave campaigner Leadsom, 53, says she believes May is "ideally placed to implement Brexit on the best possible terms."

"Business needs certainty," Leadsom says. "We now need a new prime minister in place as soon as possible."
