Amsterdam's main airport was partially evacuated late Tuesday after police responded to a bomb scare, with reports of several people arrested.
Bomb disposal experts searched the luggage of the first man arrested at Schipol airport, around 9:30 pm (1930 GMT), but it was unclear if explosives were found, Dutch broadcaster NOS reported citing police.
Local media reported that two others were taken into custody a short time later, followed by four more people who were in a car flying the flag of Belgium.
The airport said on Twitter that the incident has not affected flights and that all public transportation to and from Schipol were operating on schedule.
The bomb scare comes three weeks after terrorist struck the international airport in Brussels and an underground station, killing 32 people.
