White Night cultural event held for second time in Zagreb

The "White Night" event, featuring various cultural happenings at 18 different locations in Zagreb, including free exhibitions, performances, visual installations and dance workshops, was held in the Croatian capital on Saturday.

This was the second time Zagreb joined other cities in the world in organising the White Night event.

The first such event was held last year as part of the Rendes-vous Festival of France.

The project White Night (Nuit Blanche) was launched in Paris, as a day-long free tour of the city focusing on art, and the concept was soon taken over by other cities around the globe, from Montreal to Riga and Melbourne.

The programme of the Zagreb event featured various forms of artistic expressions, from molecular music to a digital Library of Babel.
