Israeli sociologist Eva Illouz guest at Philosophical Theatre on Feb 13

Eva Illouz, a professor of sociology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and president of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, will be the guest of the next edition of the Croatian National Theatre's (HNK) programme "The Philosophical Theatre ", set for February 13.

According to an advertisement of this event, Illouz has been chosen by the German leading newspaper Die Zeit as one of the 12 thinkers most likely to "change the thought of tomorrow".

Given that much of her work focuses on love and emotions, the HNK believes that Illouz is the best option for a guest on the eve of Valentine's Day.

Eva Illouz was born in Fes, Morocco and moved to France at the age of ten. She is the author of several best-selling books that have been translated into 15 languages.
