Hungary and Croatia ink cultural cooperation deal

Hungarian Human Resources Minister Zoltan Balog and the visiting Croatian Culture Minister Zlatko Hasanbegovic on Monday signed a bilateral agreement on cultural cooperation in the 2016-2018 period.

After the agreement-signing ceremony in Budapest, Minister Hasanbegovic said he hoped that the agreement would facilitate efforts to enhance the bilateral relations between the two neighbours.

Hungary's Secretary of State for Culture, Peter Hoppal, pointed out culture as an important factor in the Hungary-Croatia relations.

On Monday morning, Hasanbegovic met with representatives of ethnic Croats in Hungary.
