Croatian director Zrinko Ogresta's film wins award at Belgrade festival

One of the winners of the 44th FEST film festival in Belgrade is "On the Other Side"  (S one strane) by Croatian director Zrinko Ogresta, awarded as the best minority Serbian co-production.

Ogresta also won the festival's award as the best director.

Croatian actress Lana Baric won the best acting creation award for her role in the film "You carry me" (Ti mene nosis) by Ivona Juka.

Several Croatian films competed at the festival.

The winner in the main competition programme is "The Diary of A Teenage Girl" by Marielle Heller.

The festival, opened on February 2 by famous Spanish actress Victoria Abril, featured more than 110 films, including more than 20 directorial debuts.
