Croatia and Kosovo sign agreement on cultural cooperation

Croatian Culture Minister Zlatko Hasanbegovic and Kosovo Culture, Youth and Sport Minister Kujtim Shala in Zagreb on Wednesday signed a bilateral agreement on cooperation in culture.

Speaking to the press after the signing ceremony, Minister Hasanbegovic said that this was "a historic day" because this was the first time for Kosovo to sign a bilateral agreement with another country on cooperation in culture.

"This is also a confirmation of close cooperation between our two nations in the past and also now,"  he said.

Minister Shala thanked his Croatian counterpart and added that the agreement would provide an impulse to the bilateral cooperation to the benefit of both countries.
