Berlin Symphony Orchestra to perform in Zagreb Saturday

The Berlin Symphony Orchestra will hold a concert in Zagreb's Vatroslav Lisinski concert hall on Saturday, an event that has been announced as the peak of the capital's cultural season this year.

Accompanied by Russian pianist Alexei Volodin, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra will be performing works by Ludwig van Beethoven.

The orchestra, founded in 1967, will be conducted by Lior Shambadal, who has headed the ensemble since 1997.
