Zagreb marks int'ln workers' day

The main celebration of May Day, International Workers' Day, in Croatia took place in Zagreb's Maksimir Park where a protest rally was held under the slogan "People before profit", organised by five trade union federations.

The leader of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions, Mladen Novosel, and the head of the Independent Croatian Trade Unions, Kresimir Sever, are expected to address those present from the central stage.
