Website for adoptive community launched

The network promoting adoption "Adopta" has launched a search engine designed for people wishing to adopt, and in its first two weeks the website has recorded great interest of adopters and people who intend to adopt.

The search engine was launched as part of the project "This child needs a family, too" and it offers, at one place, a broad range of information regarding adoption, such as the adoption procedure, institutions that organise adoption courses, support groups for adoptive parents, potential adoptive parents and adopted children.

The website also enables professionals who provide services for the adoption community to register and become its members.

The website will be presented in detail to experts and potential adopters at a conference on adoption in Zagreb on April 15-16.

Adopta is a non-profit organisation established by adopters and potential adopters with the mission to promote a positive and supporting environment for adoptive families.
