Top state and church officials extend best wishes on Ramadam Bayram

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Monday extended her best wishes to all Muslim believers in Croatia on the occasion of Ramadan Bayram.

"May these holidays pass in a joyful religious and family atmosphere, an atmosphere of peace, love, togetherness and tolerance, in promoting the common good for our country. Bayram Sherif Mubarek Olsun!" the President said in her message to the head of the Islamic community in Croatia, Aziz Hasanovic.

The Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Josip Bozanic, also extended his best wishes for the occasion, praying that the almighty God would "help us all in promoting understanding, mutual respect and much needed peace among people."

Best wishes were also extended by Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic.
