Split-Pescara seaplane line as of Feb 2

A Split-Pescara seaplane route will be introduced as of February 2, offering commercial flights following the recent introduction of flights to Ancona, the European Coastal Airlines (ECA) company reported on Thursday.

ECA plans to connect other Croatian cities and islands and the Italian coast, company representatives said.

The company introduced commercial flights in August 2014, connecting Resnik airport near Split with the island of Hvar. The company currently has flights to seven sea airports along the Croatian coast and islands as well as Ancona, Italy and, as of Feb 2, to Pescara.
