Split airport records biggest passenger traffic in Croatia

Split Airport had over half a million passengers in July, which is the biggest passenger traffic in one month since the airport opened and the biggest passenger traffic at a Croatian airport.

The airport authority said a total of 544,000 passengers were recorded at the airport in Split in July, up 25.4% on the year.

Yesterday alone, there were 28,500 passengers at Split airport.

"Over the past two days, 190 planes landed in Split. On Saturday alone there were 110 planes," airport officials said.
