SDP receives close to HRK 100,000 in donations in H1

In the first half of 2016, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) received close to HRK 98,000 in donations, slightly less than in the same period last year, shows a report on donations the party published on its official web site on Friday.

The majority of the party's donors were physical persons - citizens, who donated HRK 82,481, while the rest were legal persons which made financial donations in the amount of HRK 2,700 and donated services in the amount of HRK 12,800.

The list of physical persons who made donations in money includes a number of senior SDP members.

The Croatian People's Party (HNS) is for the time being in the lead regarding donations, which in its case total HRK 136,000.

Reports on donations have still not been published by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and Bridge.

Political parties must publish semi-annual reports on donations by July 15 at the latest, including the names of their donors, payment dates, the value of donations and the market value of donated products or services.

According to currently available information, the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) received donations in the amount of HRK 19,200, the Croatian Pensioners Party (HSU) received HRK 6,600, the Istrian Democratic Party (IDS) around HRK 6,200, the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS) HRK 2,200, while the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) did not receive any donations.
