Rio men's water polo silver goes to Croatia

Croatia's water polo team was defeated by Serbia in the final at the Rio Olympic Games on Saturday  7-11 (2-3, 1-3, 2-3, 2-2).

Serbia, the current world champion, thus dethroned the Olympic title holders from London.

The Rio silver is the third Olympic medal for Croatia's men's water polo team, after they won the silver in Atlanta in 1996 and the gold in London 2012.
