President Grabar-Kitarovic votes in parliamentary election

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Sunday cast her ballot in elections for the 8th Croatian parliament, calling on voters to do the same "because today we are deciding on what the next four years will be like."

Grabar-Kitarovic gave the brief statement for the press after casting her ballot at a polling station in downtown Zagreb. She was accompanied by her husband Jakov.

The president will be in her office with her closest associates this evening, waiting for the State Election Commission (DIP) to publish preliminary election results, after which she will make a statement.

DIP said that all polling stations for the parliamentary elections, both in Croatia and abroad, had been opened on time and that everything was proceeding without any problems.
