President calls consultations at her office for Friday

President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has announced for Friday consultations with heads of parliamentary caucuses and other members of parliament after the parliament on Thursday gave a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic and his government.

The consultations, to start at the President's office at 9 am, confirm the President's earlier announcement that she would act entirely in line with her constitutional powers and "will not lose a single moment", as she told reporters during a visit to Delnice on Tuesday, when asked when she would call the first consultations.

President Grabar-Kitarovic will first hold talks with individual MPs and then with representatives of parliamentary caucuses, from the smallest to the biggest.
