Podravka signs deal with Adriatic Group for distribution of its products in Europe

Croatia's Podravka food company has signed an agreement with the Vienna-based Adriatic Group for the distribution and sale of its products on EU markets using the group's channels, the Koprivnica-based company said on Monday.

The agreement was signed in Koprivnica last week, whereby the Adriatic Group has become a distributor of Podravka products in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

"In order to further internationalise our company and ensure a stronger presence of Podravka products in Europe, we have decided to collaborate with the renowned company Adriatic Group. We believe that through our collaboration we will make an additional step forward and become even more accessible to consumers in these very demanding markets," Podravka CEO Zvonimir Mrsic said.

"Collaboration with Podravka is a great credit to us because it is indeed a respectable international company with very recognisable brands such as Vegeta," Adriatic Group CEO Amir Bekic said. He added that the inclusion of Podravka products in their distribution portfolio has further strengthened the group's position as a leading distributor of products from the Western Balkans to the EU market.
