Plenkovic visits Ukraine at helm of EP delegation

The chair of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee, Andrej Plenkovic, visited Kiev on Wednesday at the head of a European Parliament delegation for talks with Ukrainian officials about the political, security and economic situation in Ukraine, Plenkovic's party, the Croatian Democratic Union, said in a press release.

Plenkovic also held talks with Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy about the implementation of the Minsk peace agreement and efforts for the peaceful reintegration of occupied parts of Ukraine, with a wish to use the experience of Croatia which, with the support of the international community, peacefully reintegrated the Croatian Danube River Region, the press release said.
