Plenkovic urges citizens to vote and give next MPs strongest legitimacy possible

Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) president Andrej Plenkovic called on citizens on Sunday to go to the polls for the early parliamentary election and give the next MPs the strongest legitimacy possible.

"I would like it if a large number of citizens exercised their right, giving the next members of parliament the strongest legitimacy possible," he said after casting his ballot in Zagreb.

Plenkovic said he hoped as many citizens as possible would vote because people realised the importance of participating in an election in which they could set the course of Croatia's development and future.
