Representatives of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar Alliance (PGS), the Istrian Democratic Party (IDS) and the Slate for Rijeka party on Tuesday signed a coalition agreement under which they will run together in Constituency No. 7 in the coming early parliamentary election.
The agreement was signed by the party presidents Darijo Vasilic of the PGS, Boris Miletic of the IDS and Danko Svorinic of the Slate for Rijeka party.
Vasilic told Hina that unlike the last parliamentary election, when they ran together only in Constituency No. 8, this time the three parties would run together in Constituencies Nos. 7 and 8.
The coalition agreement for Constituency No. 8 was signed in Vodnjan on Monday.
Vasilic also said the coalition was the only group of parties of the left liberal centre, advocating regional representatives in the national parliament and not only party ideology.
He said the coalition advocated stronger decentralisation and regionalisation and a cheaper and more efficient public administration.
Vasilic also underscored the three parties advocated an open and tolerant society, multiculturalism and equal rights for all.
Constituency No. 8 covers Istria County and western Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, while Constituency No. 7 covers the southwest part of Zagreb County, Karlovac County, eastern Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the south part of the City of Zagreb.
