The leader of the Bridge party, Bozo Petrov, said in an interview with RTL on Thursday evening that he expected to win more than 12 seats in the coming early parliamentary election and that his party would score even better than projected by analysts.
He underscored that Bridge had a stable electorate, backing his claims by latest polls.
"Bridge has a stable electorate and for the first time there is a third option, along with the Social Democrats (SDP) and the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), and we have the support of more than 10% of the voters. This is a little miracle," Petrov said.
He underlined that people have recognised that Bridge was fighting for the interests of average people and not for those of the elites.
Petrov said that neither the leader of the HDZ, Andrej Plenkovic, nor the SDP chief Zoran Milanovic had contacted him regarding Bridge's conditions which were to be the basis of any future cooperation.
