Number of visits by foreign cruise ships in H1 up 2%

There were 288 visits by foreign cruise ships in the Croatian Adriatic in the first half of this year, which is an increase of 2% from the same period of last year.

In June the number of visits by foreign cruise ships was 9.6% down from the same month of 2015, show figures from the national statistical office.

The visiting cruise ships brought 371,600 passengers in the first six months, 6% or 20,500 more people than in the first half of last year.

The vessels stayed a total of 689 days in Croatia, a 12.2% increase from the first half of 2015.
