Number of persons employed up by 1.5 pct in June

 In June 2016, there were 1.397 million persons employed in Croatia, an increase of 1.5 percent on the month, with employment going up for the third consecutive month, the national statistical office said on Friday.

According to previously released Croatian Employment Service data, the number of the jobless in June dropped by 5.5% from May to 219,491. The registered unemployment rate went down from 14.4% to 13.6%.
