No explosive found in suspicious bag near French embassy in Zagreb

The area around the French embassy in central Zagreb was sealed off on Thursday evening  after a suspicious bag was spotted by the entrance to a building across from the embassy.  The police examined the bag and found that it contained no explosive device.

The bag was found at about 7.30pm and the result of its examination by explosives experts was negative, Zagreb Police Department spokesman Zlatko Ancic told Hina. The area was reopened to traffic at 8.15pm, he added.
