More than 2,700 migrants enter Croatia on Sunday

Despite snow and cold, 2,732 migrants entered Croatia by 9 pm on Sunday, and 11 people were staying at the winter refugee reception centre at Slavonski Brod on Sunday evening, while other migrants continued their journey to other EU countries.

Since the start of the migrant crisis in Croatia in mid-September, 566,072 migrants fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East, Asia and Africa passed through Croatia, the Ministry of the Interior said, noting that migrants were expected to continue arriving from Serbia.
