Minister: Croatia to continue building its section of Vc corridor

Transport and infrastructure minister Oleg Butkovic said on Friday that activities aimed at construction of Croatia's section of pan-European Vc corridor would continue.

During his visit to the eastern city of Osijek, where he pledged investment of 80 million kuna (10.5 million euros) in local road infrastructure, the minister said that the construction of the bridge across the River Drava in Osijek, as part of the Vc corridor, would be completed this September.

Butkovic proposed that Croatia and Hungary together tap EU funds for the completion of some segments of this corridor.
