Microsoft Croatia encourages digital transformation of economy

Microsoft Croatia at Partners Day in Zagreb on Thursday brought together more than 150 representatives of partner companies, underscoring a growth of its business activities and the importance of more than a thousand partners in Croatia for the company's business activities and digital transformation of the economy and the society, the sector in which Croatia is keeping up with global trends.

"Microsoft Croatia recorded excellent results according to all parameters in the past fiscal year which started on 1 July 2015 and ended on 30 June 2016," Microsoft director for Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina Ivan Vidakovic said, adding that without excellent cooperation and partner activities this would not be possible.

This past fiscal year Microsoft Croatia recorded an 18.6% increase of revenues from Office, an 11.3% increase from Windows and a 36.5% increase from Windows Servers, Vidakovic said underscoring that Microsoft recorded the biggest increase in revenues -- as much as 250% -- from cloud.

"Cloud is the future and the sooner you, our partners and other companies and institutions realise this, the better it will be for all of us," Vidakovic said.

The event was also attended by Microdoft Director for Central and Eastern Europe Erwin Hartenberg.
