May sees 1.9 pct more persons employed

Croatia had 1,376,697 persons employed in May, up 1.9% on the month, and 232,327 jobless, down 8.7% on the month, the national statistical office said on Thursday.

The registered unemployment rate decreased from 15.9% in April to 14.4% in May.
