Europe's leading providers of telecommunications services, members of the ETIS association, visited the Ericsson Nikola Tesla (ENT) company on Friday, as part of the association's annual meeting in Zagreb, to get acquainted with the concept of a networked society and technologies being developed by ENT, the company said in a press release.
The two-day ETIS conference, which brought together 160 participants, said that telecoms needed to change in order to improve their productivity in the face of stiff competition from over-the-top companies whose business is based on online platforms and telecom infrastructure.
"We have presented to the representatives of European telecoms our concept of a networked society and technologies of the future where networking will bring a new quality of life to individuals and society as a whole, such as the fifth generation of mobile communications 5G, the Internet of Things, and the role of analytics in digital transformation," ENT said.
