Karamarko: Let's forget misunderstandings, rows, be united, strong nation

Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) president Tomislav Karamarko called on Croatian citizens in his Christmas message on Thursday to forget misunderstandings and rows, and to be united and strong as a nation.

"Christmas is also a time of love for one's fellow man. Let's forget misunderstandings and rows. Let's be united and strong as a nation. We must believe that there is a light which is leading us to a better future. We lit it with tolerance, common sense and an agreement with our political partners," Karamarko said on his Facebook page.

He said "we can build a better and happier society" and that "many challenges are ahead." "I wish you all a merry Christmas in a more beautiful and happier Croatia."
