In July 2016, the Croatian Air Traffic Control saw a record number of flights in a month (67,537), up 5.2% on the year, it said in a press release.
Eighty-four percent of those were overflights, 15% were inbound and outbound flights, and less than 2% were flights within Croatia. The busiest day was July 30, with 2,552 flights recorded, including 1,950 overflights.
Airport turnover in July 2016 was up 6% on the year.
Split Airport accounted for 30% of the flights, followed by Zagreb (25%) and Dubrovnik (21%).
