Jandrokovic and Mlakar resign as deputy chairs in HDZ caucus

Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) MPs Gordan Jandrokovic and Davorin Mlakar on Friday resigned as deputy chairs of the party's caucus in parliament.

Jandrokovic confirmed the news to Hina without wishing to disclose the reasons for this latest turn of events.

He said that he and Mlakar had submitted their resignations to the chairman of HDZ's parliamentary group Ivan Suker with the hope that this might lead to a discussion of the group's functioning.

Communication in the HDZ caucus and parties in the Patriotic Coalition has obviously become problematic since this is the third week in a row that voting in parliament has been postponed for lack of a quorum.
