Industrial turnover records monthly increase

Total industrial turnover in May 2016 increased 1.9% on the month and dropped 1.3% on the year, according to data from the national office for statistics (DZS).

Seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover on the domestic market in May was up 4.9% from April, while on foreign markets it went up 3%.

Compared to May 2015, working-day adjusted industrial turnover was down 1.3%, due to a 5.9% drop in turnover on the domestic market. Industrial turnover on foreign markets was also down 5.9%.
