Industrial turnover records monthly increase

Total industrial turnover in April 2016 increased 1.5% on the month and dropped 5.4% on the year, according to data from the national office for statistics (DZS).

Seasonally and working-day adjusted industrial turnover on the domestic market in April was down 1.6% from March, while on foreign markets it went up by 3.9%.

Compared to April 2015, working-day adjusted industrial turnover was down 5.4%, due to a 9.2% drop in turnover on the domestic market. Industrial turnover on foreign markets remained unchanged.
