The president of the Istrian Democratic Party (IDS), Boris Miletic, said on Wednesday that the party bodies would decide as soon as possible about the way the IDS would run in the snap parliamentary election, underscoring however that nobody had his party's blank support.
The IDS positions have not changes. Not a single party can claim the IDS blank support. Just like seven months ago, the IDS support will depend on the readiness of potential partners to truly enter the decentralisation process and to guarantee the implementation of strategic projects in Istria, Miletic said in a statement.
He added that "cooperation with right-wing parties which in the past several months have managed to radically degrade the level of human rights and civic freedom in the country is out of the question."
Our election platform is completely clear -- the development of Istria and the right of the people of Istria to a better life are absolute priorities that we will never give up," IDS chief Miletic said.
