The Croatian Peasant Party (HSS) Presidency on Friday unanimously concluded that the party was in favour of dissolving the government because Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic lacked political legitimacy, calling on its two deputies in parliament to vote no confidence in Oreskovic and support his impeachment, HSS leader Kreso Beljak told Hina on Friday.
The presidency's first conclusion is that the HSS supports the dissolution of this government because Tihomir Oreskovic lacks political legitimacy and that HSS MPs should vote no confidence in the prime minister and support his impeachment, said Beljak.
The presidency's second conclusion is that an early election should be called if no majority is formed in parliament to guarantee a stable government, Beljak underscored.
He confirmed that the party presidency's conclusions were adopted unanimously.
The HSS has two deputies in parliament: Branko Hrg and Davor Vlaovic.
