GSV meeting cancelled due to non-appearance of govt. ministers

A meeting of the Economic and Social Council (GSV), which was to have been held on Monday morning, was cancelled due to a lack of quorum caused by the non-arrival of government ministers, a representative of the Croatian Labour and Pension System Ministry told the press.

Unionists and employers' representatives were notified about the cancellation of the session this morning, and representatives of union federations are likely to issue a press statement on the latest developments during the day.

The agenda of the cancelled session included amendments to the Aliens Act and priorities and goals of the government's employment  policy.
