Grabar-Kitarovic holds talks with Juncker in Brussels

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Thursday began her two-day visit to Brussels with a meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.

Later on Thursday, President Grabar-Kitarovic is due to meet European Parliament President Martin Schulz, while on Friday she is expected to meet with European Council President Donald Tusk.

Before leaving from London to Brussels on Wednesday evening, the Croatian president said she would discuss the position of Croatia in the EU, its plans, ways of better utilising European funds, as well the co-creation of common policies. She added that the talks in Brussels would also focus on relations with neighbouring countries and the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which she described as rather worrying.
