Govt. to set up 3 commissions to reform public administration

In order to facilitate the implementation of reforms aimed at improving the public administration system, the government adopted a decision on Thursday to set up three commissions

"An efficient reform of public administration is one of the government's strategic goals," said Public Administration Minister Dubravka Jurlina Alibegovic.

The government also decided that Zagreb's airport will be named after the first Croatian president, Franjo Tudjman.

Transport Minister Oleg Butkovic said construction on a new passenger terminal was proceeding well. The first stage will be completed in December and the terminal put into operation in a year's time.

The government also allocated HRK 1.6 million (EUR 210,500) for migrant care.
