Five Kiowa helicopters delivered to Croatian military

Five OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters were delivered to a Croatian Air Force base at Zemunik on Saturday as part of a project for the equipment of the Croatian military with reconnaissance and combat helicopters with US government and military support, the Croatian Defence Ministry said in a press release.

The helicopters, simulators and other equipment arrived aboard a US C-5 plane in the morning, while more helicopters and equipment are due to arrive subsequently. The helicopters were made in 2010-12 and were put into operation in 2012-15.
