FINA receives 607 petitions for out-of-court bankruptcy settlement since Jan 1

Since the start of this year, when a law on personal bankruptcy went into force, the Financial Agency (FINA) has received 607 petitions for out-of-court bankruptcy settlement, which precedes court bankruptcy proceedings.

Of that number, 230 petitions failed to result in a bankruptcy settlement.

From 1 January to 12 September, 606 private persons and one small business owner filed petitions for out-of-court bankruptcy settlement and the total amount of their debts was HRK 266.9 million.
