Election for SDP President set for March 12

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) will hold a party convention on April 2 and ahead of that the party will elect the party's president on March 12, the party's presidency decided unanimously on Monday.

The decision still has to be confirmed by the party's Main Committee, which is to meet on January 23.

After today's meeting, SDP President Zoran Milanovic and Vice-President Zlatko Komadina spoke to the press and Komadina then confirmed that he would run against Milanovic for the party leadership.
