DZS: Average net monthly salary for April HRK 5,633

The average net monthly salary paid in Croatia for April 2016 was HRK 5,633 (EUR 750), which was 1.7% less in real terms than in March 2016 and 2.4% more than in April 2015, figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) show.

Compared with March 2016, the average net monthly salary in April was 1.6% lower in nominal terms, while compared with April 2015, it was 0.7% higher.

The highest average net monthly salary for April 2016 was paid in the financial services sector, excluding insurance and pension funds, and it amounted to HRK 9,993. The lowest salary, of HRK 3,291, was paid in clothing production.

The average for the first four months of the year was HRK 5,663, up 1.7% in nominal terms and 3.1% in real terms compared with the same period of 2015.
