Decline of industrial producer prices in EU and Croatia slows down

Industrial producer prices in the European Union dropped again in February even though at a slower rate than in January, and their decline was subdued in Croatia as well, show data from the EU's statistical office Eurostat.

Industrial producer prices in Croatia dropped in February 0.8% from the previous month, when they decreased 1%.

Industrial producer prices decreased the most in Estonia, by 5.2%, the Netherlands, 2.8%, Denmark, 2.6% and Hungary, 2%.

In the EU and the euro area, industrial producer prices dropped by 0.6% and 0.7% respectively from January, when they went down by 1.1%.

On the year, industrial producer prices in Croatia dipped 4.8%, almost twice as much as in January, when they went down 2.8% on the year.

In the EU and the euro area, the average annual drop in industrial producer prices was 4.2%.
