Croatia's construction output in May up 3.3% y-o-y

The volume of construction work in Croatia in May 2016 increased by 1.3% over April 2016 and by 3.3% over May 2015, the latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) show.

According to working day adjusted data, the volume of construction work on buildings increased by 10.3% year on year, while civil engineering works decreased by 2.6%.

In the first five months of 2016, compared with the same period of 2015, the volume of construction work increased by 3.1%, with work on buildings increasing by 9.6% and civil engineering works falling by 2.7%.
