Croatian, Turskish broadcasters sign cooperation protocol

As part of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Croatia, the Croatian and Turkish broadcasting corporations HRT and TRT signed a cooperation protocol on Tuesday.

The protocol regulates broadcasting rights for radio and television programme with payment for the reception of broadcast during the period stated in the protocol or through the exchange following the principle of reciprocity.

Under the protocol, the two broadcasting corporations will have an employee exchange programme, also based on reciprocity, HRT said in a press release.

The year-long protocol will be automatically renewed unless one of the parties decides to terminate it.
